His original composition "On the Stairs" hangs with the best including the Coltrane piece on the record. His sensitive side and touch come out on "Both Sides Now" (yes, the great Joni Mitchell). As a piano player (of sorts) I like Jim Hall with Bill Evans on any of their collaborations. I will check out some of these other cats i haven't heard. Thanks for the recs.
